A technique to memorize longer

My full name is Nguyen Quang Toan. I am a teacher of English at Ngoc Thanh A School, Phuc Yen District, Vinh Phuc Province. I have logged in the Website www.teachingenglish.edu.vn and learnt a technique to help students remember longer.

Students must understand what they are learning. In the lesson of vocabulary, I ask some of students to give the meaning of each word and an example with it. Students feel very excited to learn vocabulary when they can apply it in every situation. Students learn about vocabulary of family members, I have some of students write them on the board one by one and introduce their family members based on a photograph. And then, I ask them to bring their own photograph full of family members and to introduce with it. All of my students are able to introduce about their family, even without a photograph.
