Hello, my name is Elena. I am a second year student teacher. I'm trying to be very creative and spend much time on planning lessons. I am doing my practice work in a high school this year once a week. Today, for the first time the teacher of the pupils I teach left me alone with them and the troubles began... The children didn't see me as a teacher. They totally ignored me. I wasn't shoutung but was strict, but it didn't work. I spent a lesson trying to make them do something. I planned an interesting lesson, but because they didn't listen I left it and told them to work on their booklets. They just didn't hear me. Next week a lecturer from my College comes to observe me. How am I suposed to survive that?
