Learning technology is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources." Source: Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learning_technologies

Here is an (incomplete) list of learning technologies:

      • Computer-aided language learning software
      • Office applications
      • The Internet
      • CD-ROMs
      • Interactive White Boards
      • DVD Players
      • Mobile Phones
      • Anything electronic that can help someone learn.

These technologies can help to adapt to a new pedagogy for student learning; however, It is important to note that pedagogy takes the lead and makes demand on technology. Below are some weblinks that will provide you with food for thought on learning technologies, especially Web 2.0 tools. If you would like to improve your digital skills as teachers, please feel free to contact your local British Council office for further training opportunities.

Thanks to Ozge for the valuable websites to help learning English. Here are some examples that my students did as project:

      1. Summary of Beowulf Part 3 http://www.toondoo.com/cartoon/1503910

      2. Summary of Chapter 4 by using http://www.fodey.com/generators/newspaper/snippet.asp

      3.Great expectations http://www.toondoo.com/ViewBook.toon?bookid=190505

      4.vocabulary http://www.wordle.net/

They did their presentations in class. As they are digital natives they had fun and interested in their friends' presentations.
