(Teachers pass an envelope containing several questions about the materials of the previous sessions while some music is being played. When the music is ceased, who has the envelope has to answer one question in it)

2. Brainstorming
- Teachers are asked whether they usually use the same activity in their class.
- Answering this questions is going to lead in some problems of managing large classes
- Teachers then work in group before a class discussion raising some problems they usually have in their large classes.

3. Problem solving activity
- Trainer gives a demo of how to use problem map dealing with one of the problems having been raised.
- In group, teachers find out the possible causes, consequences, and solutions for each of the problems they have raised using problem map.

4. Jigsaw reading
- Jigsaw reading of paragraphs about the techniques useful for dealing with large classes
- Teachers , using the details from their reading as well as their own experience, complete a chart of three columns of techniques, key points, and some tips to apply each technique in a large class.

Working in groups, teachers suggest at least 3 techniques for dealing with concrete situations of large classes.

6. Feedback and wrap up
Teachers recall the techniques having been introduced to them together with the key points. They should also be reminded that whatever technique being used must create a positive learning environment in which children feel safe to experiment the target language
