      Olympic Park - sports, stadiums, and legacy

      In this lesson students read about the Olympic Park for London 2012, and its buildings and facilities. They discuss the stadiums and the sports, but also consider the broader long-term legacy of the Olympic Park project.

      Level: Lower intermediate CEFR B1 (teenage and adult)

      Timing: 60 minutes

      • To practise reading skills (skim, scan, detail)
      • To practise speaking skills (exchanging information, discussion)
