Comparing is finding similarities.

Contrasting is finding differences.

      This is how I would teach the term stereotype. Start from the general and go specifically to examples from the story.

'Thankyou Ma'am' by Langston Hughes is the first one that comes to mind.

Can teach modals 'might', 'could' or 'may' for unknown possibility.  'Probably' for a more likely possibility.
