If you teach young learners who are all the same age and live in the same town, opportunities for sharing and comparing life experiences can feel more limited than they would be in a multi-national class of adult learners.
Vokis are great for practising speaking skills with students. Creating an animated character and giving it a voice is real fun to do and breaks down the inhibitions that students often have when faced with recording themselves speaking in English.
The Magic Pencil exhibition and website celebrated children's book illustration and brought together the work of 13 illustrators who offered familiar as well as new and varied ways of approaching book illustration.
