      This new scheme from the British Council will help provide unemployed graduates (from the last three years) with a gateway into an exciting and dynamic career which gives an insight into other cultures and communities while also helping people around the world to meet their own goals and aspirations.

      The Macmillan Education Award for Innovative Writing, now in its third year, is open to aspiring ELT authors who have not yet published any of their work.

Alex is an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea, and set up his website in order to, amongst other things, share his research, lesson plans, and thoughts on teaching EFL. He believes that as teachers we shouldn’t ever stop learning or developing. In “Payback Time: Lessons From The Harshest Teacher Trainers (My Students!)” Alex reports back his findings after taking the brave step of inviting his students and co-teachers to rate his performance in the classroom.

      Kaleidescope is an exciting new series of teaching materials that mixes video and original pieces of writing from well-known authors in three capital cities – Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
