BODYART (a lesson plan)
Type of the lesson:a lesson-discussion + IT
Educational objectives: educating a student as a personality on common values, the formation of a school initiative and independence, tolerance and respect for other nations and other cultures.
Educational goals: forming student's intrinsic motivation to learn the language and culture, developent of the children's attention and perception, auditory memory, thinking and imagination, the ability to analysis.
Educational aims: expanding horizons of students by learning from new nformation on the subject: BODY ART.
Realistic goals: forming the communicative competence of students, spontanious and prepared tasks and the use of IT.
Targets:
- training students in a free speaking environment to establish a project o the topic BodyArt
- the develoment of the open students' creativity in the presentatio of the relationshp to this form of art and te understanding of beauty.
Technical support:
- computers (connected to the Internet)/computer with the overhead projector and a screen
- PowerPoint presentation
- CD options
- USB flesh memory cards
The main stages of the lesson:
- Introduction of the topic of the lesson, including the sequence of the suggested actvities;
- Brainstorm activities on the vocabulary;
- Selecting a topic for a further search and the discussion;
- Presentation of the project (using a blog "BoDyArT");
- Discussion: Teacher-Student, Student-Student, Team-work ;
- Makng a questonaire for a virtual companion on lessons;
- Individual performance of mini-projets based on the questionnaire.
Conclusion of the lesson: summing up the lesson and the assesment of the contribution of each student

Hi there, Yes I agree with you that students should set a free speaking environment and also without technical support its not easy to achieve a goal. Setting a goal is the key to success really because without setting a goal student can't go further when he doesn't know what his final destination is.
