      Barriers to effective communication 2

Yesterday I wrote about the first part of my list and here is the rest.

      Barriers to Effective Communication

      • Advice giving (They really don't like taking advice, actually they just ask encouragement!)
      • Interrupting (Noone likes interrupting at al.:))
      • Listening only to content, not hearing feelings
      • Talking, not listening
      • Daydreaming
      • Criticizing
      • Labelling
      • Prejudging the speaker(THE WORST ONE!!!)
      • Jumping to conclusions
      • Finishing another person's problems

These are the things that comes to my mind.

Do you know any other barriers???

      Hi Ayşe,

I think you've itemized barriers to effective communication well. I totally agree with you.

      Thanks,
