I came across this on Larry Ferlazo's excellent blog. I'd not heard of robots as teachers in the classroom before, but it seems there are plenty of tests going on in Korea.

Clearly it's still at a very early stage, but I imagine they will be much more sophisticated in 10 years time. Combine this with the themed classrooms appearing around the world (such as at Disney schools in China) and I wonder how long it will be until kids can have an English lesson face-to-face with their favourite cartoon character...
