      We are still with chalks

      To Every one.

I am a Primary school teacher in a Government (UNION) School, at the South Indian Coastal Region.

Our children are very recently encouraged to write and practice through the Low Level Black Board to develop their fingers practice and the peers will notice as well to improve their hand writing practice on the board.

Instead of writing in their note books its very obvious to learn through the others. Psychologically, students do not get affected even if they written in a wrong way or even could not able to write well. Whilst in note books they will not come again to the teachers mostly, underestimation of their own out input.

Its nice to share with you.

      Thanks.

In Asia, most Primary school use those block boards and chalk and the kids are motivated to participate in class, orally or written way. Kids come in front and either speak. Sometimes they write on those boards. In some cases, a certain kid with good hand writing will be assigned to be the class secretary and has a responsibility to write on the board. Well, this will teach kids not to be afraid when their in front of a number of other kids while they are writing. Just a good way to build their confidence.

      Hi everybody,

Here I am after a long session.

Hope that you might have read my previous messages at least once.

Very recently I have been taught to learn more vocabulary by my resource person when they were teaching the "Teaching english programme"

Where I could found that learning new words make us be more confident when we are in front of the students.

If any one who has found any new ways to develop the number of vocabularies through our regular life,  leaves a comment here and we can share our things easily.
