Hi, I have a question which has been puzzling me today, and I wondered if anyone has a good answer to it:

In my first post I mentioned only one language course had ever truly impressed me; well that course was the Michel Thomas Spanish series.

So every so often a new language learning method comes out. Usually they proclaim themselves “revolutionary” and present themselves the magic bullet of language learning.

So I’m going to teach oral English to Chinese natives. I’m not a teacher, and have never taught before, however I have always had a strong interest in how languages are taught and learnt.
