Take an index-sized card on which you paste a digital picture of an everyday article found around the house or garden. When you take the pictures with your digital camera, print them out on good paper, with each picture small enough to cut and really paste on the card. I printed the card first with questions such as -What is the picture?, What is it used for or what do you do with it? The idea is for each class member to have a card which serves as the stimulus to describe it to the others and so practise talking skills.
