      Don't forget to leave negative things outside of the classroom :)

      Dear Bloggers,

      We will be almost done with the term break at the end of this week in Turkey so I hope everyone had a great holiday and ready to go on with the second term with new, fresh ideas.

      Sometimes it seems hard to cope with everything while working at the same time but I believe that whatever we have in our daily life must stay behind the door of classroom. Imagine yourself bringing your personal issues to the classroom and reflect it with your angry face to your students.

      Do you think that your teaching would be fruitful then? I think you should;

      Leave everything behind you while entering the classroom, your students have no fault in your personal problems,

      Just try to concentrate on your subject of the day before the class and that will be warm-up session for you and your teaching.

      Because when you are demotivated somehow, that affects both your performance for teaching and also the students’ performance for learning.

      I would be really happy to hear more ideas about your energetic ideas to start everyday as if it was your first day of  teaching career.  I think, we should have morning sessions in blogosphere to share all positive ideas for teaching. That would be a real energizer, How does that sound?

      Happy blogging everyone,

      You're quite right, the teacher's emotional state is of great importance. Maybe sometimes it is necessary to think about the motivation to some certain activity, which can be always new.

      Dear Mike,

      Thanks for your contribution, I think we need to get rid of all bad energy outside the classroom, do you have some strategies for this?? from your own experience?

      Well, I often listen to music on my way to work - sth positive usually does the trick.

      A good technique is somehow to abstract from other things as you described, but that doesn't often work for me.

      And I often take some candy or sth sweet - that usually helps too)
