      Back in Turkey now...

      Dear all,

I am back in Turkey right now after  a nice week in Copenhagen. I kept running in the Blogathon although the weather was something -6 for all week there. I am happy not only with my performance but also with the things I learnt there. I want to share what I gain after my first international workshop in terms of  professional development.

      Self confidence:

Believe yourself and your power. You might be a real newbie in your teaching career but of course you have your own experiences in teaching and as long as you are searching for the new things everytime; that means you will have something to say about no matter what the subject is.

Seize your day& Seize your teaching:

Everyday is a good chance for new start in your career. You should make the most of each day and reflect upon your teaching. Otherwise, it may sound that you keep what you do in your classroom everyday and this will lead to blind-teaching in the end.

      Be open to new ideas:

Listen your colleagues and welcome new ideas in your teaching style. Any kind of exchange in terms of professional development will  open new doors for you.

Say see you later to your colleagues that you meet in your workshops. Knowing that the world is a great place to meet again makes me always happy.

Enjoy whatever you are doing and all the best from Turkey,
