As part of our project on the environment, my year sevens have various new words to learn. They vary from the words boil and plant, to recycle, laundry and earth.

I've made many mistakes since starting as a new teacher on September 1st.

Capital Letters have saved my life!

This week, my head of English asked me for a word.

"Euston, we have a problem," she said.

The answer is of course, no they are most definitely not. Any one who has read 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus', or rather, has a pair of eyes and ears can see the difference.

On Tuesdays, the Teach First participants meet at college, part of the requirements to receive our teaching certificate at the end of the school year.

The weather is still consistently wet over here, and with it seems to bring apathy and bad behaviour from the majority of my students.

Sunday, the beginning of the school week in Israel, and it is pouring rain. Unusual, certainly, for a country that has eight months of hot weather, but catastrophic? My students seem to think so.
