I would love the share an idea for teaching the literary term symbolism. The link will take you to the presentation that I created.

Do you have any other ideas for teaching literary terms?

I love it! It's clear, colourful and goes from explicit teaching to applying it to a text.
I had trouble teaching the term 'stereotype'. The pupils kept thinking it was the same as 'stigma'. My example was the wolf in Little Red Ridin Hood. (The wolf represents all bad people).
Any ideas?
Of course! I will write another blog entry on how I taught the term stereotype.
