Teaching and Learning
Submitted by muge_ on 7 February, 2012 - 15:04
It's the beginning of a new term and I wanted to share some quotations on teaching and learning that may be inspiring.
- "A single conversation across the table with a wise man is worth a month's study of books." Chinese Proverb
- "Perplexity is the beginning of knowledge." Kahlil Gibran
- "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young." Henry Ford
- "Let me teach for a generation, and I will become ruler of the state." Napoleon
- "You can't push information into a child's brain: the brain must pull it in. When children lose trust they become loose horses. They try to survive any way they can." Monty Roberts
And here is my favourite:
- "You can do anything with children if you only play with them." Bismark
Happy blogging!

<3 Henry Ford's words... I'm pasting it to my school's page ASAP. There are some really OLD young people who need to see it.
