Dear colleague! Today I'd like to tell you about a charming tradition of schoolmates' reunion.
Yesterday I went to the meeting with my ex-classmates. It's an annual event and I think an important one. It's been 8 years already since I finished school.
On that day we visit our school (in my case Sergiev Posad Gymnasium), there are always some speeches and concerts there. But most important - our teachers. It's so wonderful to meet them again and to remember our school life.
And of course, we can meet our ex-classmates, communicate with them and hold fine memories of friendship, falling in love, new discoveries. Sometimes we meet some people after a long pause as many of us left our town and live in Moscow or in other towns of Moscow Region.
I think it's crucial for us not to forget about these days. School is very important in every person's life and such meetings are essential for living further.
And what do you think about such kind of traditions?
Was your school life worth remembering?
Do you think that such meetings are necessary for today's students?

Hi, Mike,
Thanks for, you told about a charming tradition of schoolmates' reunion.
I like these kind of traditions.

keep sharing...
Dear Mike, nice to read your nice memory...I never forget my school day memories;) thanks..
Dear Mike,
We don't have such traditions here because it's a small place, so you can see the same people for the next 70 years every single day. I wish we had reunions though.
:)
Dear colleagues, it's nice thast you share my admiration of such reunions. After all, maybe we may be able to sustain and promote things like that.
I'd like to share the impression of a teacher about this day. It's such a pleasure for both teachers and ex-students to meet. Everyone is so excited. Yesterday I had a chance to meet my beloved students who finished school 10, 7,5, 2 and 1 years ago. And inspite of the fact that we keep comunicating on the Internet, face-to-face comunication is much better. They want to know about modern students, changes in school, just walk around their school.
That's totally right, chikh-4!
Face-to-face dialogs and promenades around the school really keep nice memories alive.
Dear Mike, you made me remember my school days. It is really exciting to meet people you haven't seen for many years and people who you can share your memories with. Last year my classmates and I had a meeting of old friends, it was an unforgettable day, I hadn't met some of them for about 10 years. We went to a Chinese restaurant :))) and enjoyed "the evening of memories" that day.
Thank you for reminding about good old times.
It's a pleasure:)
It's interesting to notice that we are really in need for such days. One of my classmates, was about to give birth to a baby one of these days - nevertheless, she came!
How wonderful
