This semester, I have decided to blog about my classes. I want to share about what they are, who my students are, what I'm teaching them and how I think they are progressing in my classes. I would also like to share about how I feel about my teaching.

Today is November 10, 2009. Classes in the university where I am teaching officially starts today. I have three classes to meet - two writing subjects and one speaking class for mostly freshmen students. I will spend my class hours orienting my students with university and classroom policies as far as attendance and grading are concern. I will show my students how they will be graded and will ask them to agree on the weight for the grading criteria. I'd put them in pairs to share about their expectations and thoughts about learning and using English in their daily conversations.

My aim for this semester is to be able to blog about my classes until the semester is over.

I hope it is going to be a worthwhile endeavor:-)
