      Thanks for the links!

My students always ask me to watch a movie at the lesson, but when we do it, I become a translater and the whole thing gets boring, 'cos students don't understand everything. I stopped doing that and now we watch only some interesting parts taht are useful for us. So, Lemanulas, do you watch movies at the lesson? Do you watch the whole movie at the lesson? :)

I know this is slightly off topic, but a fabulous film to show at this time of year when the weather is cold and snowy is The Snowman by Raymond Briggs. Fabulous for younger children. There is no language but tons of vocabulary potential.

Perhaps you already use it Lemanulas. When I worked in primary it was used alot and we had the video. That's how long ago we are talking about! I wonder if you could find it on-line? It is a after all a christmas classic.

Hi Martynova Olga,Good question,,First of all,I wanna ask you that,,in what age do you watch they feel bored? For me, I gave them list watching for holidays etc...But my courses as you said,,,just some parts are very intresting..Because just watching the whole movie makes me bored aswell;) We have to give the message from that movie...So, it is very useful watching little bit more for 7th,8th graders etc...but for the young learners nice to wacth by stopping step by step and make comment etc.. Thanks a lot for stopping by! Nice to read your nice comment;) So waiting your answers... In which group do you work with;)

We watch short video clips in class and then, if they ask for more, I assign it as homework. They watch films at home and discuss them in class afterwards. The last one we watched was Dr. Doolittle 4.
