      Are they Courtesy Lie or Pink Lie :)???????

      Did you reliase it? Students have strong defense mechanism. They always have smt to say.:) They always right!If they don't bring their homework on time, They have several reasons.. A list should be like this: :)

      Miss Leman: ''The electricity cut this night.'' Our water line went pop yesterday.''The elevator get out of order this morning.'' My father's cousins sister's son is very ill.'' My pencil broken and didn't find any 24 hour open bookseller.'' I forgot my homework under my desk.''My mum wasn't at home last night.'' I have Science exam today.''I waited long but the bus didn't come on time this morning.'' These are the mini example sentences that Ss make up.You know it is just for fun! In spite of everything they are all lovely and pretty monsters ;).

      If you hear more please add this list.:)Looking forward to reading more ;)

      They try to save their face, at least they can react and vamp up a lie, isn't it one of the creativity form?

      When I first start teaching 30 years ago, I used to get angry with these lies.

      Now , as you wrote  their courtesy-pink lies are very cute for me.

      once, I organised "the best courtesy lie" in the class room. You'd see what delicios lies. you can't believe to your ears.

       I forgot but some of ıremembered

      "there were no passengers on the bus"

      "No water flew"

      "mum didn't cook"

      "There was a match on tv."

      " My uncle would come from Germany,(but he didn't)
