next step after CELTA, was to try and put into practice what I learnt.

An opportunity came my way through the institute I work for and that was teach a student from Brazil who had learnt German and now living in India wanted to grow in the English language. This was a one- to- one tuition and I was very apprehensive on the first day. I wrote down my detailed lesson plan and the session went on for two hours and we both were not aware of how time flew. Understanding the student was difficult, but she was a visual learner and as classes progressed, I grew more confident and my lesson plans more interactive.

CELTA training helped me to make her understand the noun-verb, noun-prepositions, the correct sentence structure, while shopping and Telephone etiquette.

I enjoyed class and above all my student went from Pre-basic till Pre-intermediate level
