Stay with me
Submitted by ilyas sayim on 3 February, 2011 - 11:37
hello to colleagues from all corners of the world.
i would be very glad to share an English poem of mine and receive responses so that i can travel further in the land of poerty. here it is.
STAY WITH ME I like the way you talk to me, So luminous, so pleasant; You've covered all my sky: The most precious present. Stay with me in the sunshine, Stay with me in the rain; A long way is ahead of us And so many things to gain. Do we really need the pigeons, Or the smoke over a peak? We've always been together, Through unheard words we speak. Stay with me in the laughter, Stay with me in the tears; We'll never abandon hope Overcoming all the fears. How could I write so easily If your smile weren't so cute; I'm happy to confess that Without you I'd be mute. Stay with in the valley, Stay with me in the highland; You resemble a great sea And I'm the lucky island. The treasure won't diminish: You're my genuine fellow; Togetherness will never end Like the colours of rainbow. Stay with me, stay with me Forever and within trust; To brighten up the future We'll endeavour to the last.
