In the latest video webcast from WWW.TESOLacademic.org Prof. Jenkins talks about shifting from EFL or ESL English as a lingua franca (ELF).  She identifies what ELF is, but does not really address implications for our practice.  Should we be teaching ELF to our students?  Why, why not?
