      While the world has been celebrating the heroics of the Apollo programme, I've been working on another heroic - though completely bonkers - piece of aviation history.

      Larry Walters flew in a lawn-chair from his suburban California garden - and managed to cause a power failure across Los Angeles. It's a story which learners of all ages can enjoy and it comes with activities. You can find it here:
