Will we all end up in a CELTA-induced hysteria?

Just over halfway into the CELTA course. Yesterday some of us had visions of all ending up in strait jackets in a dingy institution somewhere, muttering 'TTT, must reduce TTT' to ourselves whilst rocking back and forth.

The initial excitement has worn off - I think we are all feeling the pressure now.

Personally, I find it frustrating not being able to create a Standard Plus lesson again - am I not improving? What do I need to do to reach those giddy heights again?? - so the nerves and stress are getting to me.

And this is only the semi-intensive course! Mama mia.

OK back to planning. A speaking lesson based on a debate/discussion. What topic? Not sure yet. Something scientific/medical, to link with the previous lessons. Procedure? The tricky part - need the right balance for a 40 min lesson.

My brain's too fuzzy today. Need a cup of tea.
