It is simplifying articles of the English Wikipedia for use in the Simple English Wikipedia.

I began with articles like that one: Saale. Later on I worked  at World history. One can see that quite a different level of English is necessary for that one. And there is an other advantage as well: Your pupils create texts that are useful for other people. 

The article Saale - to be honest - hasn't been read very often in April 2009, only 17 times. But World History has been viewed 735 times.
