      Do you check your students' copybooks? If yes, how do you encourage your students to be neat (if you do)?

      I check copybooks of my students when they pass their essays or any other written assignments.I do encourage their handwriting to be readable but I never nag at them on the issue of cleanliness as I suppose university students are adult enough to be criticized for petty things.
      But I believe it should be different with schoolchildren who have to write in a neat manner.

      I work mostly with schoolchildren and pay my attention to their copybooks and their handwriting though I don't nag either (at least I try)  - if I can't read it - I just don't do it.
