Social networks and, what has been described as 'Web 2.0' , are having a profound influence on the way that online learning can be delivered, particularly for language teaching / learning. I recently delivered a presentation on this topic here in Morocco and wanted to share the recording of this presentation, so if you would like to view it you can watch it on YouTube on my channel. It's about 9 mins long and I hope not too boring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfpkVYXpvyE It isn't perfect and since creating it I have thought of things I missed or should have given greater emphasis to, so i would welcome your comments. Thanks for sharing your presentation.I’m very interested in technology and how it can be applied in education. It’s good to know what other people think about it and what other platforms or tools they use.I absolutely agree with you about “the dark side”. When I say that I agree, I mean, I agree there is a dark side, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take advantage of technology. It means we should know about it, and we should create this awareness among our students so they can become critical thinkers. Mercedes Arq.
