After more than ten years of not working with first graders I received two groups of 1st graders this year... was I surprised, scared, amazed? nope, not at all... I think I was anxiously waiting to see whether I had improved my techniques to work with them during these years...

Oh, my! how fast they change! I still can recall the characters, cartoons, games that were interesting for those long-gone children from 10 years ago... these kids don't even know them... I fancy I'll need to watch some newer cartoons, toys, videogames and kidstuff...

But I'm fine and they're doing okay!

I feel I'm working, I can see their learning, and both they and I are happy...

and that's all that really matters to me...
