Got tired of dull 2D Power Point presentations? Need something to make the topic of the day more eye-catching? Prezi’s your thing. ;)
Prezi is a free web-tool for creating presentations. The presentations created this way can be downloaded onto your computer and viewed at your wish (without installing any new programmes), shared by email, Twitter or Facebook or be embedded in a blog post. They can be edited by several people simultaneously.
Prezi is very user-friendly, so the more tech-savvy can have a lot of fun discovering it on their own. But there are also tutorials and cheat-sheets available here - http://prezi.com/learn/ .
To cut the long story short, I’ve made part two of the “Great ideas I've learned about in our Blogathon so far” into a Prezi: http://prezi.com/zit1xyclk3kq/blogathon-2012/
*hint: to start the Prezi click Play and keep clicking it until it turns white. :)
Hope you all like it!
Love to all,
Dora

I've seen a number of Prezi's but haven't tried to make one myself yet. One needs to be careful not to use too much zooming - don't want people to get dizzy!

Hi, dxplorer,
Thanks for sharing prezi. I liked your presentation. I'm going to interested in..
@naomi: It is cool, isn't it? I'm new to it, but I'm having so much fun exploring it. :)) And people can get dizzy by looking at it, can't they? I've only discovered it by reviewing this one... :D
@babakartal: I'm glad you liked it! :)
Thank you for sharing this Dora. I saw many presenters using Prezi and loved it. I became a member and I'm trying to sort it out. I can't imagine my students when I present the things on Prezi. They will love it.
You're welcome!!
Thanks for sharing prezi! It 's cool!
I discovered it in summer and
tried to make one for myself! It may be amusing for students!
Nevertheless, my preferences are still with PPT..
It is calm and there is no so much zooming!!:))
You're welcome! :)) I guess it's all about finding the right balance - it doesn't matter if it's a prezi or a ppt, if you overdoit, it's bad. :D
