I really haven't considered it too difficult to find partners for comenius project before I started to search. But unfortunately it is!

There must be millions of schools in Europe but I could have just found two partners (from Finland and Lithuania) for a very long time. 

It is our first attempt to apply for Comenius and we have written a good project draft. I registered in most of the partner finding websites and constantly updating. I sent thousands of mails, most of which returned negatively. I really wonder whether I missed a point in that or not. Or is it really too difficult for most of the Turkish schools?

Happy Teens Through Art & Science

Teenagers are at a point in their lives where they are figuring out who they are, their relationships with people, and how they fit into this world. Our Comenius Project is dedicated to empowering pupils to create authentic happiness through innovative education of art & science. One of the aims of the project is to find ways of improving safety and well-being in school, as well as the prevention of bullying. Our project will give us the possibility and the feeling to recognize that we have a lot of challenges in common. Despite of national differences we will through exchanges get to know different cultures and traditions from each others countries. This background is valuable in order to understand why different countries might have different solutions on the same ethic problem. By being conscious about our own cultural heritage by comparing it with other countries, we will get the possibility and the necessary power to realize our own and understand other students and other teachers' ways of thinking and behaving. Through various art and science activities and exchanges the ultimate end-product will be an international organization of an Art & Science Fair. We have limited time to apply for 2011 comenius multilateral partnerships but I hope there will be some more partners to give life to our project.
