Time flies! It is near the end of your one year CLA experience. I am sure you are busy with gift shopping already and can't wait to go back to your home!
However, maybe it worth pause a minute and try to recall how anxcious you were when you first arrived in this school. If in your school, you were not used as an asisstant but a teacher, you might spend the first month trying to figure out what the students have learnt and what kind of activities or teaching styles they prefer etc. You can make the next CLA's life much easier by leaving her/him your scheme of work, which covers what you have taught and how you taught and asessed them. of course you should include what resource are used and how to find them. You can add some notes for anything you want to remind the new CLA if you have already followed a scheme of work created either by you or others.
It would be even more helpful if you can write a letter with any tips you think would make a difference in the new CLA's life. You can leave the letter in the shared document and tell your mentor to remind the new CLA to read it. Or if you prefer, leave your email and suggest the new CLA get in touch with you later.
