I had one of my first classes at a new school yesterday and let´s just say that it was probably one of the worst teaching experiences I´ve had so far! First of all, the students couldn´t be bothered to pay any attention to what I was saying (or desperately trying to say, to be precise), secondly it was in this really unwelcoming, dark and depressing place. I was checking the time and looking at the exit sign above the door every 5 minutes to get out of there as soon as possible.

I usually really enjoy teaching but I that class was probably my first big disappointment.
