Today I gave a presenatation on "Raising cultural awareness in business one-to-one classes" and it felt really good to be able to share ideas with my fellow workmates. I also attended a talk on learning objects by Claudia and Carla from Parana and I absolutely loved it! The suggestions were amazing and I'm going to put them into practice right away!
I'd like to know which talks or workshops you have attended and how they have helped you.

Hi! How interesting. Could you share with us little bit of what you did and said in your presentation? I'm also a business English teacher and I'd love to hear about that.
Mm, the last seminar I attended was about mini-fiction. It was really worthwhile, so after I'm done with my blogs about imprinting on our learners, I'd like to write sth about the topic on my blog.
I'm also attending the NLP Practitioner Course (Escuela Argentina de PNL & Coaching, Southern Institute of NLP, USA) in English and with a focus on Teaching. I'm really enjoying the ride. I keep thinking about the issues raised in every module for weeks on end!

What a coincidence! I am going to give the same presentation in ARTESOL this year. My goal was to show Business English teacher how easier their life become (in terms of class preparation and meeting students' needs) when you actually know your student better. In the presentation I offered ways through which you can assess your students' needs and how to use what you have assessed in class. Hope to see you there in October!
