In order to be good teachers, we must always remain good learners. An important part in our lifelong learning and teaching is sharing ideas and learning with other teachers in our countries and in the whole world. The Internet and social networks make it easy for teachers to be in everyday contact with other teachers and discuss the important issues.
Today, 28 January, I am going to participate in a TwitterMeet and I am looking forward to it. Teachers participating in TESOL EVO “Becoming a Webhead“ session are meeting tonight from 20.30 GMT on Twitter to discuss the topic of why web tools are important to English language learners.
How am I going to participate? I'll be logged in and I'll search in the search box at the top of the screen for #baw2012, for all tweets with this hashtag. Teachers taking part in the discussion will use that hashtag to carry on the discussion. I hope to join with a few tweets of my own. My comments of 140 characters or less will flow into the stream of messages on this interesting topic. If you are interested in the topic, you can join, too, because web tools are important to English language learners and teachers equally, aren’t they? Our Blogathon is a proof of it, don’t you agree?
