I'm really fond of Voxopop, a very simple audio tool used to share a conversation with people you can't meet f2f, or to continue a conversation whenever you feel like it.

After you sign up, you can create a talkgroup. Your talkgroup can be open, for everyone to join, or you can make it private and invite people you want in it, e.g. your students. You write the title and a short description of the topic you want to discuss, which your students will see once they join.

Then you record your message. You only need your headset. You click on the red button with Record sign, speak into the microphone, click on “stop“ to end your message. You can listen to yourself and record as many times as you need, until you are satisfied with the quality. To help you the colours in the voice bar change from blue to green and red if you speak too loudly, so you can control your voice better.

After the recording, write at least one keyword of your discussion into a box and save your message. You can share your discussion on various social networks.
