My students - 22 school - leavers passed Translation Techniques exam May 16. They translated authentic and original texts, not adapted and not abridged. Again and again I came to the conclusion that if the students from the very beginning (9th or 10th form) translate non-adapted texts there will no be any difficulties at the exams.
