      CELTA Course

Actually, I have created this blog to post notes on my up-coming Celta Course here in my country.

I have been teaching English for almost eight years and as the opportunity arose, I registerd my name in a Celta Course organised by the Intensive English of School( www.ise.co.uk ), here in Tehran.

I will be sending posts here daily as the course starts.

What I want to do is to keep a diary of this full-time, four-week intensive course. I will try to develop an insight on this fabulous course.

If you want to catch up with me everyday and have no prior info. on what this course is meant for, I would like to draw your attention to the following links:

      Great...

I'm planning on doing a blog this coming October on the CELTA from a Tutor's point of view.  It will be interesting to compare the course from both perspectives (I assume you mean you're taking the course; my apologies if you mean you're conducting one).  I guess yours will be especially interesting seeing as you've already been teaching for many years!

We're both going to have a tough month ahead of us though - the CELTA is very intensive on everyone, and trying to keep our Blog's up to date at the same time could be more stressful than we predict!

Hi Aminn   It' great that you are doing this, especially after 8 years of teaching. The course can often be quite hard on people who have already established strong teachng behaviours. Having said that it is always great to reflect on and question waht you do in the classroom, so this is a great opportunity for you to develop your skills.   I did the course myself in Cairo a long time ago and really enjoyed it. I have since taught the course to and have always found it avery rewarding experience.   I'll be reading your blog with interest.   Best
