I would like to share a game with you which I had played with the trainees during my freelancing career.

It was regarding building vocabulary. An idea clicked to my mind. And it was framing new words from the

a single  10-15 letter word (say, for example, ENTERTAINMENT, ADVERTISEMENT, etc).

 Now the trainees /students  have to frame new words from the letters contained in that word only .       (say,ENTERTAINMENT).

 The new words will be , for example, MEN, ENTERTAIN, ENTER,  MAIN , TRAIN , IN , TEN, etc.(No limit)

 Now, the new words can be framed with the letters contained in the given word only. It can be words of

 2 letters, three letters,etc.

For instance the word ENTERTAINMENT has 2 Ts and 3 Ns. Obviously, the Ts and Ns can be used twice and thrice respectively, in any new word framed from that single word.

This really made them use their brains in finding out new words and building their vocabulary

I hope the teachers can try out this game or say exercise to build up or to augment their vocabulary skills!!
