Abstract

This paper explores the experience of EFL teachers moving from teaching older learners to teaching younger learners. The context is the Turkish private primary school sector. The paper shows how the teachers moved from 'controlling' the behaviour of learners towards a broader conceptualisation of how to organise learning.
