In this lesson students will read about the growing trend of vegetarianism in the UK. The lesson integrates speaking and reading skills and students will also learn new vocabulary related to eating habits and different diets, as well as some fruit and vegetable idiomatic expressions.

Aims:
• To practise speaking skills in a role play
• To learn vocabulary related to vegetarianism and diets
• To practise reading skills
• To learn fruit and vegetable idioms


Age group: 11- adult


Level: B1 / B2


Time: 60 –90 minutes


Materials: Vegetarianism student worksheet and reading text
