In this interview, Katherine Bilsborough talks about how creating her own materials was useful for her own professional development and gives some practical advice to teachers and teacher educators wanting to move into materials writing.

She also talks about a recent project she has been working on for the British Council to produce printed material based around the 12 Professional practices in the British Council’s CPD Framework.

In her talk at the conference, Katherine looks at ways teacher educators and trainers can help teachers find, create, recycle and adapt good-quality materials that are appropriate for their learners. Katherine explores ways to help teachers to exploit authentic materials for classroom use.

The recording of the talk will be available soon
