Researching the attitudes and perceived experiences of kindergarten learners of English and their parents in China

This paper investigates attitudes and perceived experiences of English learning by Chinese kindergarten children.


The project shows how feasible is the use of questionnaires and innovative methods: metaphor analysis and narrative analysis, with 4-6 years old children and their parents. The findings offer rich data and insights into cognitive, emotional and behavioural aspects of these participants towards English learning in China.
