In this programme we hear that learning doesn’t only depend on the teacher. Students have an equal part to play and we should encourage this.

We learn that moving away from traditional approaches and letting students work collaboratively – in pairs and groups – for at least some parts of each lesson can have a positive impact.

In addition, we hear about the benefits of involving our students in planning topics and materials for future lessons, and about some of the tools and approaches that can help them become more autonomous learners.

Download the teacher support worksheet below to help you find ways to encourage your learners to take more responsibility for their learning.
