In this lesson, students will be asked to think about their own energy consumption, they will learn new vocabulary related to renewable and alternative energies, read a text about designers who have invented products using these types of energies and then have to come up with their own ‘green’ invention.

• To practise speaking about renewable energy, and do a role play
• To focus on vocabulary related to renewable energy
• To practise reading skills
• To prepare and give a group presentation of a product.
