Watch a recording of this webinar about using picturebooks in the primary classroom.

About the webinar

In this webinar, Gail Ellis shows how the rich and stimulating medium of story picturebooks and the technique of storytelling can develop children’s English as well as encourage social and emotional development. Gail presents a range of picturebooks to identify the criteria to use when selecting picturebooks, as the key to successful storytelling is having the right story for the linguistic and cognitive ability of the children. During the webinar, Gail used several picturebooks. For a list of these, please download the attached documents at the bottom of this page.
