Five on 5: Connecting with Teacher Educators

To celebrate World Teachers' Day 2018, Ellen Darling, Kirsteen Donaghy and Sirin Soyoz presented Connecting with Teacher Educators, a 1-hour webinar for teachers, teacher educators and school leaders.

As part of our Five on 5 series of webinars on World Teachers' Day, Kirsteen Donaghy, Ellen Darling and Sirin Soyoz present a webinar Connecting with Teacher Educators.

About the webinar

Teacher educators play an essential role in developing the skills and knowledge of teachers and improving quality in the classroom. However, they often work in isolation with limited opportunities to engage in their own professional development.

This webinar outlines the benefits of a new, online, internationally focused Community of Practice which enables teacher educators to explore and participate in topics of interest, join discussion forums, and access and share useful resources with peers and other experienced educators. We also discuss the challenges involved in setting up and managing an online community.
